Customized tours/pop-up exhibits for visiting scholars, filmmakers, and classes
Among the filmmakers and artists I have worked with are James Spooner, Renee Baker, Michael and Gloria Schultz, Boots Riley, Nia DeCosta, Stew (from Stew & The Negro Problem), Ike Willis (Frank Zappa bass guitarist), Julie Dash, Zeinabu irene Davis, and many others.
In addition to exhibits, tours, and classroom presentations, I have contributed content and edited two different newsletters and blogs, published archival spotlights in third party publications, created edited videos to promote archival materials, created promotional material for events, and managed and coordinated events including working with a professional film crew and making guest travel arrangements for a multi-day conference.
